| IMPORTANT DATES |
| Deadline for receipt of applications is January 31. Applicants will be notified of results by March 31. |
| GRANT PREPARATION |
| Enclose a resume or curriculum vitae with your applicatioin,
as well as any other material (e.g., slides, reviews you think strengthens
your application. Arrange to have two letters of support sent by the January 31 deadline. Ensure that your supporters enclose a copy of their curriculum vitae. On a separate sheet, describe your project and explain both why you need our support and how you plan to use it. |
| NUMBER AND AMOUNT OF AWARDS |
| Grants normally are given in amounts ranging from a few
hundred to a few thousand dollars. On average, 6-8 grants are awarded annually. The competition is keen. |
| POST-GRANT OBLIGATION |
| Applicants awarded grants will be asked to submit a report summarizing their work and how their grant was used. |
