In May, CAF hosted a panel on the arts and advocacy at the Animal & Vegan Advocacy Summit in Alexandria, Virginia.

On the panel, moderated by CAF ED, Martin Rowe, was (from left above), dancer Kittie Mae Morris, filmmaker Allison Argo, and writer and literary curator, Sangamithra Iyer—all of whom received CAF grants in 2023. Panelists talked about their ongoing work, aesthetic choices in their advocacy, and the challenges and opportunities around raising money for their projects. CAF also had a table (below) in which we showcased our programs, our grantees’ art work, and the books our grantees have published.
