The Culture & Animals Foundation is delighted to welcome “scienartist” Gal Nissim and legal scholar Marine Lercier to its administrative board.

Gal Nissim is a CAF grantee (2018), whose work stands at the intersection of art and science, examining (in particular) animals in the human environment. Marine Lercier is a PhD candidate in Global Animal Law and a Doctoral Researcher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, where she taught Animal Law and Roman Law. She is the co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the open-access Journal of Animal Rights Law and Founder and Executive Director of the International Centre for Animal Rights and Ethics (ICARE).
